I sit at a desk for a great part of the day and when I leave work I generally do not have time to go to the gym most days. What are some exercises that I can do while at my desk during the day?

  2. Hi D Bradley,
    Thank you for that question.
You are in luck. In just a few days, I am going to post an interview that I did with another industry expert on that very topic. I can’t wait to share who he is and what he has to say.
But until then I will tell you to make an effort to get up out of your seat more often during the day. Even if there is no need to leave your desk, leave your desk. Take a walk around the block, take a walk around the inside of your building, movement is key.
    Thanks again!

    Hi Natasha,
I’m over 50, have been working out for over 30 years and plan to keep doing so forever. I have 2 slipped discs that I have to baby now and that means I can’t do some of the workouts I used to do (like running). My question is; what are the best aerobic exercises for someone like me. I need a challenging exercise but one that won’t leave me hurting.

  4. Hi Mary,
    Thanks for your question.
Elliptical, Biking are fine – for a challenge you can adjust the levels. Most machines now have different courses that you can choose to run or ride on.
The goal of your exercise should be to make the muscles of your back stronger. This will help ease the pain.

    All with your doctors clearance.

    Hi Natasha,

Question for you- how can i gain weight ( just a little) keep it on and stay fit? i am naturally thin and i do not work out regularly b/c I don’t want to loose any weight. But as I get older, I want to work out to maintain my health. So can I tone and gane a few pounds in the interim?
