What are you Drinking?
January 6, 2009
A sufficient amount of water daily is needed for our body to function properly. Water is especially important if you are active. 90% of our bodies is made up of water.
Benefits:
lubricates joints
helps digestive system
is good for workout recovery
Requirements:
8-10 glasses a day. A good way to ensure that you get enough water for the day is to walk around with a water bottle.
Taste a little too plain? Squeeze some lemon in your water. This will also help with digestion.

I ONLY drink water, so I get more than what I need on a daily basis. I used to drink juices and other beverages, but find that nothing beats water. I also make sure to drink alkaline water, because I do not want any added minerals or metals.

I believe all the way about drinking agua. I drink 1 gallon a day now and have done that for about 4 years. Staying out of dehydration is so important especially becuase sometimes when we are thirsty we mistake it for hunger. Water is great.

I have to admit I have been real bad on my drinking water. You’d think I would know better but for some reason it just slips my mind. The other day i was working out on the treadmill with a friend, for about 35 minutes, then she ask me how’s the water. It was then that I realized that I haven’t had any during the whole workout. Not good!
So my goal is to really concentrate on that aspect of my workouts and through out the day.
Thanks for the post. It was a helpful reminder of what I was doing wrong.
By the way i haven’t forgotten about the writing. Works been busy and I haven’t had any time to do all that I wanted. I’ll work on it on Wednesday and I’ll have it to you soon. Sorry about the delay.
Have a awesome day!

I’m an advocate of always having a bottle of water on you. You will drink your daily amount without even noticing.
